However, even though Non AZO colors are based on natural substances, they cannot be classified as 100% natural.
Benefits of Using Power Flowers ™
Color Master
Create a full color spectrum with the Color Master. The instructions are designed for coloring 400 g of white or milk chocolate. You can derive 84 shades based on Non AZO colors and 96 colors based on AZO.
Keep your Color Master away from light, as color shades are prone to fading. It is recommended to change the Color Master annually so that the colors remain fresh and vibrant.
Please note that the actual color may differ from what is indicated in the Color Master due to various factors, including the type and quality of the chocolate, the thickness of the chocolate layer, and its state (pre-crystallized or not).
Assortment
Power Flowers ™ come in a universal assortment of AZO and Non AZO colors, both in Discovery boxes and as individual items.
The Color Master is included when purchasing Discover sets, but it can also be bought separately. 1 pack of Power Flowers ™ of any color contains 50 flowers, with a total weight of 50 grams. Because this colorant is highly concentrated, it will last for a large number of uses.
How to Use
Power Flowers ™ are very easy to use. Just follow the instructions below, and you'll have a batch of colored chocolate ready to create something truly spectacular!
Step 1: choose the desired shade in the Color Master chart and put the specified amount of Power Flowers in a bowl;
Step 2: measure out 400 grams of white or milk chocolate;
Step 3: add ¼ (100 grams) of the melted chocolate to the bowl with the colorant;
Step 4: wait 1-2 minutes until the Power Flowers completely melt;
Step 5: stir the mass until the colorant is fully dissolved;
Step 6: add the remaining ¾ of the chocolate and mix thoroughly;
Step 7: if necessary, temper the colored chocolate.
Please note! When coloring velvet spray (velour), the final colors may differ slightly from the chart if you replace part of the chocolate with cocoa butter (< 50% cocoa butter). Cocoa butter has a yellower undertone than chocolate. The ideal temperature for coloring chocolate with Power Flowers is 40-45°C.
AZO and Non AZO Colors
Power Flowers ™ come in AZO and Non AZO versions. Both versions contain E-numbers that identify the color's origin. However, the E-numbers contained in AZO Power Flowers ™, according to European legislation, contain a specific compound that may have a negative effect on activity and attention in children. Thus, if you use AZO colors, you will need to indicate on the product packaging: "May have an adverse effect on activity and attention in children." Due to the synthetic structure of AZO dyes, they generally yield brighter shades than Non AZO.
When following the recommended concentrations in the instructions, foods colored with Power Flowers ™ are absolutely safe.
